Technical Support & Maintenance
Keep what you built working, updated, and secure — without hiring a full-time developer.
From $150/month · Fixed-scope quote before work begins · Digital delivery
Keep what you built working.
Most businesses reach the same point: they have software — a website, a custom tool, a hosted application — that the business depends on, and no reliable way to keep it technically healthy. When something breaks, they scramble to find someone. The someone is either expensive, slow, or unfamiliar with the system. The scramble costs more than a retainer would have.
A technical support retainer means there is always someone who knows your system and can act fast when something goes wrong. We handle routine maintenance so problems don't accumulate, monitor for issues before they become visible to customers, and fix bugs within the agreed response time. You pay a fixed monthly amount. You stop scrambling.
Who this service is for
This service is a good fit if any of the following describes your situation.
You have a website or web application that the business relies on and no one on your team can fix it when it breaks.
Your site or app is built on a CMS or framework that needs regular updates — and updates sometimes break things.
You've been burned by a security incident or performance problem that went unnoticed for too long.
You just launched something with another CodeCraft service and want ongoing technical cover.
You're paying a developer an hourly rate to fix things reactively — and the unpredictability of that cost is a problem.
You've tried to maintain it yourself, but "I'll deal with it when it breaks" is no longer a strategy you're comfortable with.
What you get
Everything included in the scope, delivered by the agreed date.
- Bug fixes and error resolution within the agreed response time (response within 1 business day, fix typically within 2–3)
- Software and plugin updates managed and tested before deployment
- Security patch application and basic vulnerability monitoring
- Performance monitoring — you're notified of degradation before customers are affected
- A monthly summary of what was maintained, updated, or fixed
- A named point of contact who is familiar with your system
- Priority handling for critical issues (site down, data inaccessible)
- No long-term contract — cancel with 30 days' notice
New feature development, major platform upgrades that require significant development work, and work outside the retainer scope are quoted and approved separately.

How it works
Step by step, from your first message to receiving the deliverable.
We review your system
Before the retainer starts, we review your current technical setup — hosting, software versions, any known issues — and document what we're maintaining. This baseline means we're familiar with your system from day one.
We handle routine maintenance
Updates, patches, and scheduled tasks run on the agreed cadence. We test updates before deploying them to your live environment. If an update causes a conflict, we fix it before it affects you.
You report issues, we fix them fast
When something goes wrong, you email or contact us through the agreed channel. We acknowledge within 1 business day and work on a fix. Critical issues are escalated immediately.
You get a monthly summary
Each month you receive a brief summary of what was maintained, what was fixed, and what we're watching. You're always informed and never left wondering what you're paying for.
A plugin conflict caught before it took the site offline
A small business running a custom WordPress installation received an automatic plugin update that conflicted with their custom checkout flow. On a monitored site, we identified the conflict in the staging environment, rolled back the conflicting plugin, and notified the client — before the conflict ever reached their live site. The client was informed; the site never went down.
Sample project — illustrative
"Before the retainer, our developer fix cost us $300–$600 every time something broke, with no idea when it was coming. Now I pay a fixed amount every month and I know someone is watching. I haven't had an emergency in four months. That's not luck — that's maintenance."

Common questions
A bug fix is a functional problem that existed before the retainer started or developed during the retainer period — something that worked, then stopped working. New feature requests are outside the retainer scope and are quoted separately.
Via email to support@codecraftssolutions.com during business hours (Mon–Fri, 09:00–19:00 CET). Critical issues are noted in the retainer terms and handled with priority. You will always receive an acknowledgement within one business day.
We'll quote it as a separate project and send it for approval before doing the work. It won't appear on your retainer invoice without your prior approval.
Yes, with 30 days' written notice. No lock-in, no penalty. We believe the value of the service keeps clients — not contract terms.
